Ansar Ali
Manager & Trustee
My Name is Ansar Ali, I am one of the co-founders and chairpersons of Islamic Academy & Da’wah Centre, I and a few key Brothers are trying to drive this good cause forward in our community and where ever Allah: Subhanahu wa ta’ala, (Arabic for “May He be glorified and exalted”) permits it to go. Alhamdulilah with the Brothers we currently have on board we can progress swiftly with the organisation structure we have in place.
I am currently looking after the Academic review, finance aspects, advertising, events, catering and overseeing all operations.
Allah the almighty gave me the guidance to practice Islam a few years ago although born a Muslim I was not a practicing Muslim. After studying Islam for a while with a few Brothers I realized the purpose of existence and what I need to do to achieve the real success which is to succeed in the life of the hereafter. I want to educate myself, my family, my friends and the entire Ummah of our beloved Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him).
By profession I am a loss adjuster working for the insurance industry but the section I work for Alhamdulilah does not involve any Ribaa (dealing in interest).
It is a small company which has contracts from major insurances to value written-off vehicles.
I do not specialise in any field but Alhamdulilah I have quick learning skills and I had to utilize this in this organisation, I have done things I never thought I can achieve such as designing posters and banners and many more new skills which I quickly had to adapt to.
Inshaa’Allah with the truth, sincerity, patience and knowledge we can make this a real success to get closer to our creator and the only true Deity (Allah)
I ask Allah the all Mighty to guide us all to the straight path and enter us into his Jannah (Ameen).

Abdul Rab
MANAGER & TRUSTEE
Asalamu’Alaykum, my name is Abdul Rab and I am a chairperson at Islamic Academy & Da’wah Centre (IADC). My role spans across several different areas including culture & Events, Admin and Learning and Education.
Our vision started in 2016 were myself and a few brothers identified the need for education within our community. There has not been a fully functioning learning institute for Islamic education nor a Madrasa, therefore we planned to learn amongst ourselves, spread the knowledge of Islam within our growing group and develop in Dheen to get closer to Allah SWT. To date, Alhamdulillah it is serving as a tool to bring people together and unite the community through the call of Islam.
Summary about myself
I was born a Muslim but as life started to show it’s colours I started to loose track of my purpose of existence and as a result devastation and guilt took over. Ever since I got married back in 2012, I made a commitment to myself that I will pray my 5 daily Salah and since then Alhamdulillah, I have been firm in my commitment. In 2015 By the Grace of Allah SWT I performed Hajj which unlocked my heart and strengthened my Emaan.
My ambition is to make an impact on lives through teaching the truth as to why we exist. I wish to achieve this by planning and arranging a framework for Islamic educational programmes which the Ummah can benefit from. Ultimate goal is to take as many people to Jannah God willing, including myself. In addition, I thrive from seeing people prosper and develop their potentials to be successful.
Education & Background
I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Business studies, since then I have worked my way up the recruitment industry in the field of medical and now logistics. I enjoy travelling, making time for family and friends. I do enjoy recreation and would really appreciate going on tours, holidays, sight seeing, mountain climbing etc. My aspiration would be to work selflessly to serve communities that are in need. Doing charitable work and visiting refugee camps is something that I have always admired and In’Sha’Allah, God willing if my finances permits me, I will one day achieve these.
Please help us support this noble cause by donating for the sake of the Ummah. May Allah SWT bless you all and keep you well and safe.
Barak’Allahu Feekum
